Foundation Charter
The official deed setting out the founding purpose, governing bodies and operating principles of the Subaşı Foundation.
A family's shared covenant
According to official archives, the Subaşı family traces back to Bekir Pasha (Subaşı) in Baghdad in 1534 during the Ottoman era; through the course of history and the dissolution of the Empire it scattered far and wide, becoming known as the Subaşıs wherever its members settled.
The Subaşı Foundation was established to foster solidarity and mutual aid among family members and to keep their customs and traditions alive. This deed sets out the foundation's name, headquarters, purpose, governing bodies and financial principles in accordance with the Turkish Civil Code.
