Foundation Bodies

The Subaşı Foundation is managed transparently and accountably through the bodies defined in its charter.

The Foundation is governed by the Board of Trustees, the Board of Directors and the Auditor. In addition, a General Directorate is established to carry out the Foundation's work, and honorary membership may be granted to those who have served the Foundation.

Board of Trustees

Highest Decision-Making Body

Composed of the Foundation's founder and the individuals named in the charter. It elects the board of directors and the auditor, approves activity reports and the budget, and sets general policy. It convenes at least once a year in April.

Board of Directors

Administrative & Executive Body

Composed of five full and one reserve member elected by the Board of Trustees for three years. It takes and implements decisions in line with the Foundation's purpose, develops financial resources and ensures activities run smoothly.

Auditor

Financial & Activity Audit

Audits the Foundation's activities and finances on behalf of the Board of Trustees. Elected for three years from among experts in financial matters, the auditor examines all books, records and documents and presents a report to the Board of Trustees.

General Directorate

Carrying Out Services

Established to implement the decisions of the board of directors and to organise the Foundation's services in line with its purpose. A general manager is appointed by the board of directors; it consists of central and provincial units.

Honorary Members

Honorary membership is granted, on the proposal of the board of directors and by decision of the Board of Trustees, to those who provide material and moral contributions to fulfilling the Foundation's purpose and services. Honorary members may attend Board of Trustees meetings and are treated with protocol at events.
