This SMS Consent Notice is provided to inform you and obtain your explicit consent regarding the verification of the mobile phone number you provide during membership and the sending of SMS messages to you.
01Purpose and Scope
The mobile number you enter during membership (Sign Up) is processed to verify that the number belongs to you and to inform you about membership processes and Foundation activities.
02Types of SMS Sent
Two types of SMS may be sent to you:
- Verification SMS: a one-time code is sent to the number you entered to verify it. This SMS is mandatory for account security.
- Informational SMS: may be sent to inform you about membership processes, announcements and Foundation activities.
03Phone Number Verification
To complete your membership and secure your account, you may be asked to enter the verification code sent to the mobile number you provided. Verification is performed only to the number you entered.
04Explicit Consent
By approving the membership form and providing your mobile number, you give your explicit consent to receive verification and informational SMS within the scope described above. This consent is given of your own free will.
05Withdrawing Consent
If you do not wish to receive informational SMS, you can disable your SMS preference at any time by logging into your account. Mandatory SMS sent for account security and number verification are outside this scope.
06Protection of Your Number
Your mobile number is stored encrypted in the system; it is not sold or rented to third parties for marketing. SMS delivery is carried out only through an authorised messaging service provider.
